Since the year-end giving season is already well under way, you probably feel more pressure than ever to reach your objectives and raise more money. You might be putting in longer hours than normal while attempting to fulfill new demands. I can understand if you're finding it difficult to keep up with everything without getting overwhelmed.

4. Take a nap.

Being weary all day long can make your life even more stressful, especially if you discover that it requires more effort than usual to do your work. You might find that, despite working greater hours, your productivity actually declines.

Even if you may be working later than normal, it doesn't mean that you'll start thriving on less sleep. So, if at all possible, try to get enough sleep each night.

5. Develop an attitude of thankfulness.

According to psychology, persons who regularly express thankfulness report feeling more satisfied with their lives. One of the best ways to deal with all the ways we feel life is "shorting us" is to take the time to reflect on the things we have to be thankful for.

This can be as easy as making a list of three things for which you are grateful before you go to sleep, as soon as you wake up, or when you sit down at your computer.
